Born in Meridian, Mississippi, and raised in Chicago, she began experiencing unexplained body odor symptoms at the age of fifteen — a condition later identified as Trimethylaminuria (TMAU), a rare metabolic disorder.
For years, Carry endured misdiagnosis, homelessness, depression, and repeated psychiatric hospitalization while raising two children alone.
Her determination to find answers eventually led to self-discovery and diagnosis in 2003.
After surviving cancer in 2023, Carry felt compelled to share her truth with the world — offering hope to others facing unseen struggles.
